About us

Green Care Services was created in 2017, when a previous care provider was no longer able to continue offering their services. We wanted to maintain the skilled care workers, and continue to provide our existing care users with the same great care.

Our registered manager and care staff have been engaging in the local community for many years and are well known within the community. Green Care collaborates with local professionals to create a unique service that meets the needs of people who will use the service with a personalised approach.

In January 2020, Green Care Services merged with Oblige Care Services to strengthen the leadership team and maintain high standards of compliance and governance. This has given Green Care the foundation to progress and meet the staffing demands of a growing service provider.

Personalisation, or person-centred approach, is key to our core values and we aim to achieve the following: 

• Offer skilled care to enable people supported by us to achieve their optimum state of health and well-being.
• Treat all people supported by us and all people who work here with respect at all times.
• Uphold the human and citizenship rights of all who work and visit here and of all Service Users.
• Support individual choice and personal decision-making as the right of all Service Users. Respect and encourage the right of independence of all Service Users.
• Recognise the individual uniqueness of Service Users, staff and visitors, and treat them with dignity and respect at all times.
• Respect individual requirement for privacy at all times and treat all information relating to individuals in a confidential manner.
• Recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualised programs of meaningful activity to satisfy that need of Service Users and staff.
